Job Title: Molding OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Molding Operator to work in both the injection mold and assembly areas. The role involves operating the injection mold machine, including closing the door, pressing go, unloading, and trimming parts. Additionally, you will assemble basic plastic medical parts and package them. The work is repetitive, and you will be using microscopes, so prior experience is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Operate injection mold machines by closing doors, pressing go, and unloading parts.
  • Perform basic trimming of molded parts.
  • Assemble and package basic plastic medical parts.
  • Utilize microscopes during the assembly process.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with machine operation, injection molding, and assembly.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders.
  • Proficiency in using microscopes.
  • Good communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Some manufacturing experience is highly beneficial.
  • Injection mold experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attendance and positive attitude are crucial.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean medical setting, with assembly areas and presses located in Class 7 and Class 8 Clean Rooms. The facility includes a nice break room and is situated in a brand new building.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Center, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
