Mechanical Assembler
Shift and Pay: 7am-3:30pm $22/hr
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Measure, cut, and assemble plumbing materials (PVC, stainless, copper, galvanized).
- Bolt, glue, screw, and fasten components for custom system builds.
- Test-fit parts before modification; ensure proper alignment and accuracy.
- Use basic hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, saws).
- Operate equipment needed for assembly tasks.
- Mount assemblies onto custom frames.
- Test equipment functionality.
- Assist with prepping systems for shipment and receiving incoming materials.
- Keep parts and inventory organized.
- Help in other production areas through cross-training.
What You Need
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure (inches & centimeters).
- 6+ months of experience with hand/power tools.
- 6+ months of mechanical assembly or construction experience.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Read blueprints/drawings.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
