Job Description
The Quality Compliance Manager will lead compliance efforts for AS9100, ISO9001, ITAR, and support CMMC certification processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that all quality and compliance processes meet customer and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead compliance efforts for AS9100, ISO9001, ITAR, and support CMMC certification processes.
- Ensure all quality and compliance processes meet customer and industry standards.
- Review flow-down requirements from quote requests and purchase orders for compliance with standards and contracts.
- Assess customer drawings for inspection feasibility and conformance to GD&T standards.
- Evaluate manufacturing and inspection methods.
- Provide quality input into manufacturing processes, including inspection planning and identification of key characteristics.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions in response to customer complaints or field failures.
- Collaborate across departments to promote quality awareness and implement best practices.
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors, regulatory bodies, and customers on quality and compliance issues.
- Champion a data-driven culture of continuous improvement to enhance product and process quality.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support broader business objectives.
Essential Skills
- Experience in compliance management, audit, document management, and quality systems management.
- Proficiency in AS9100 standards with practical experience.
- Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ITAR, and CMMC processes.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in quality or compliance roles within a manufacturing setting.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; ASQ Certification preferred.
- Experience with government contract review, blueprint reading, and quality inspection processes.
- Familiarity with CMMC is preferred.
- Additional certifications in Quality Management, Compliance, or Continuous Improvement are advantageous.
