Delivery Assistant

Join our team as a Delivery Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting drivers with the delivery of various beverages to offsite clients. This position involves unloading trucks at bars, restaurants, and stores, and using a dolly to maneuver kegs and flats of beer. Comfort with handling kegs weighing up to 165 lbs is essential. Professional customer interaction is expected, as you will also collect empty kegs from clients and return them to the warehouse for inspection.

• Assist drivers with beverage deliveries to offsite clients.
• Unload trucks at various locations including bars, restaurants, and stores.
• Use a dolly to maneuver kegs and flats of beer.
• Handle kegs weighing up to 165 lbs.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Collect empty kegs from clients and load them back onto the truck.
• Unload trucks upon returning to the warehouse and inspect kegs for reusability.

• Experience as a Delivery Assistant, Warehouse Associate, or in General Labor.
• Ability to load and unload trucks.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution and production processes.
• Ability to use a pallet jack and perform palletizing tasks.

• Experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required.
• Entry-level candidates willing to engage in physical labor are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with pallet jacks and dollies is beneficial but not mandatory.

This role offers a strong starting point with opportunities for career advancement, including the possibility to obtain a CDL and transition into a delivery driver role with a potential salary of $75,000. Candidates will ride in trucks around the city and engage in outdoor unloading activities. The role involves significant physical labor, and candidates should be comfortable with these conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
