Job Description

This entry-level position in the plastic extrusion department involves assembly and packaging support for extrusion operators. Responsibilities include assembling housing for cartridges using small hand tools, labeling cartridges, and packaging. The plastic is extruded and rolled onto spools, which are then taken off the machine, wrapped in plastic, and loaded into cartridges. This role is set in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble housing for cartridges using small hand tools.
• Label cartridges accurately and efficiently.
• Package products according to specifications.
• Assist extrusion operators as needed.
• Handle spools of extruded plastic and prepare them for loading into cartridges.

Essential Skills

• At least 6+ months of experience in packaging, warehouse, or assembly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to operate machines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or pick and pack environment.
• Plastics experience is a significant advantage, though not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
