Job Description
As a Lathe Machinist, you will operate one or two Hardinge lathe machining centers to produce high-precision aerospace and medical parts. You will be responsible for inspecting parts using basic inspection equipment and performing necessary documentation for ISO audits. Production runs typically range from 100-500 parts, and you will perform changeovers from one lathe machine to another.
Responsibilities
- Operate Hardinge lathe machining centers to produce aerospace and medical parts.
- Inspect parts using basic inspection equipment.
- Perform necessary documentation for ISO audits.
- Monitor machines to ensure tight tolerance measurements.
- Perform changeovers between lathe machines.
- Technical degree and/or 2+ years of professional machining experience.
- Experience operating CNC Lathe machines.
- Ability to inspect own parts and read blueprints.
- Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with Hardinge IIISP, 42SP, and Fanuc controls is a plus.
- Ability to fully set up machines for production runs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
