Job Description
The role involves assembling a drug delivery device used for patients with bladder cancer within a class 7 or 8 clean room. Assemblers will handle small tubes, inflate them with nitrogen, and carefully load the drug into the tubes. The process includes using a small rod to position tablets, adding spacers, and forming nitinol wires into a pretzel shape around the filled tube. Following a 24-hour curing period, the device undergoes inspection under a microscope to ensure quality specifications are met. Assemblers will also assist in packaging the product prior to leaving the cleanroom.
Responsibilities
- Assemble drug delivery devices in a class 7 or 8 clean room.
- Inflate small tubes using nitrogen and load the drug into the tubes.
- Use a small rod to position tablets and add spacers.
- Wrap nitinol wire around tubes and form into a pretzel shape.
- Conduct quality inspection under a microscope.
- Assist with packaging the product prior to leaving the cleanroom.
- 1-2 years of medical device manufacturing experience in a cleanroom.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in documentation and following GMP and cleanroom procedures.
- High School Diploma.
- Experience in using hand tools and microscopes.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with small parts.

Work Environment
Work in a clean room environment with full gowning procedures, including scrubs, bunny suits, booties, hair nets, and glasses. The facility includes individual changing rooms and lockers for personal items. Work hours are 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 6:30 pm, with mandatory bi-weekly Fridays. The new facility is well-lit, comfortable, and features a large updated break room.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ham Lake, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
