Field Service Technician

Join our team as a Field Service Technician, working on the 1st Shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This role involves working within manufacturing for half of the year and traveling domestically and internationally for the other half, servicing sensors in farms and various organizations across Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

• Test, calibrate, and perform final assembly for sensor-related products using voltage input/output testing, a frequency generator, oscilloscope, digital multimeter, and additional test equipment.
• Configure and test PC control systems for functionality and integration with wireless components.
• Perform electrical testing, adjustments, circuitry-level troubleshooting, and mechanical assembly.
• Provide pre- and post-sale phone, email, technical, and field support.
• Conduct pre-sale field site assessments, verifying system configurations and network integration.
• Perform product commissioning, validation, and customer training at facilities.
• Work with engineering to improve products, test prototypes, and debug first-run products.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment, and manage inventory stockroom requirements.
• Create demos and test fixtures for sales, marketing, and tradeshows.
• Support Quality Management System processes and record-keeping.

• Electronics troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with PCB and electronics soldering.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and write technical reports.
• Strong PC skills and ability to train customers.

• An Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or three years of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of networking, VPN, firewall, IP routing, and network security is a plus.
• Current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hopkins, MN.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.
