🛠️ About the Role

You’ll be part of a supportive, laid-back environment where your skills are valued and your work makes a real impact. Our shop provides full-service repairs on trucks, trailers, buses, heavy equipment, and other diesel-powered vehicles. Every day brings variety — from routine maintenance to complex overhauls.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, brake work, clutch repairs, welding, and engine overhauls
• Conduct DOT inspections and PMA/B services
• Handle boom and crane inspections and repairs
• Perform transmission and body work
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 4–5+ years of experience in the diesel field
• Proficiency in diesel engine and transmission repair
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in hydraulics and pneumatics
• Welding experience and heavy equipment maintenance knowledge
• Must own personal tools and be able to perform preventive maintenance

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Inver Grove Heights, MN.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00/yr.

- 4% 401k Company Match - Weekly Pay on Wednesdays - Work uniforms provided - All tools that employees bring into the shop are insured by Truck Repair & Equipment - Employees have the opportunity to use the shop on the weekends for any personal projects or work that they want to do on their own (this could be a side job that they are doing for friends/family or just to work on their own equipment) - Will pay for candidates to attend school and receive a degree related to Diesel maintenance work - Flexible hours (they are willing to have people start any time between 6AM - 8AM. Additionally, they are open to candidates that cannot work a full time schedule. - Great opportunity to receive on the job training (the owner started out at age 15 sweeping floors and is on track to retire early - Very laid back environment/culture. Very willing to work with employees as long as they are consistent hard workers and provide value to the business. - Company will assist with helping employees gain the proper tools needed for the job over time

This is a fully onsite position in Inver Grove Heights,MN.

This position is anticipated to close on Jan 1, 2026.
