Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

This position involves working as a 2nd shift builder responsible for assembling cut material into floor and roof trusses according to specifications. Responsibilities also include pulling plates, stacking finished products, banding and marking materials, and pushing products on carts to appropriate areas.

Responsibilities

• Pull plates and stack finished products.
• Band and mark materials accurately.
• Push products on carts to designated areas.
• Read and interpret work orders and production schedules, whether typed, handwritten, or on a computer screen.
• Set up and operate presses, nail guns, and other equipment.
• Connect plates using a hammer and/or press.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction and assembly using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production schedules.
• Proficiency in using tape measures and other measuring tools.
• 6+ months of manufacturing or construction experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently, verified through references.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crescent, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $19.75/hr.
