We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team. The role involves operating an 18-foot brake press machine, as well as bending and forming metals. You will also be responsible for some machine setup based on work orders and ensuring accurate machine operation.
Responsibilities- Operate an 18-foot brake press machine.
- Perform bending and forming of metals.
- Set up machinery according to work orders.
- Ensure precise machine operation.
- Utilize measuring devices to ensure accuracy.
- Proficiency in operating a press brake and punch press.
- Experience with machine operating and fabrication.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and WPS specifications.
- At least 6 months of machine operating or fabricating experience in a factory setting.
- Experience with reading micrometers and dial calipers is strongly preferred.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a large, open factory/plant floor with dim lighting due to welding stations. The facility is equipped with large overhead cranes and features good ventilation throughout.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mankato, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
