Brake Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team. The role involves operating an 18-foot brake press machine, as well as bending and forming metals. You will also be responsible for some machine setup based on work orders and ensuring accurate machine operation.

• Operate an 18-foot brake press machine.
• Perform bending and forming of metals.
• Set up machinery according to work orders.
• Ensure precise machine operation.
• Utilize measuring devices to ensure accuracy.

• Proficiency in operating a press brake and punch press.
• Experience with machine operating and fabrication.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and WPS specifications.
• At least 6 months of machine operating or fabricating experience in a factory setting.

• Experience with reading micrometers and dial calipers is strongly preferred.

You will work in a large, open factory/plant floor with dim lighting due to welding stations. The facility is equipped with large overhead cranes and features good ventilation throughout.

This is a Contract position based out of Mankato, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mankato,MN.
