Job Title: CNC Setup Machinist
Job Description
Join a dynamic team in Minneapolis as a 1st shift CNC Setup Machinist, responsible for executing production setups and operations. You will work with tight tolerances in industries such as automotive, military, and medical.
Responsibilities
- Complete setups, edits, and troubleshooting on various mill machines.
- Operate Mori Seki Mills, Kitamura Mills, and Robodrills using Fanuc controllers.
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, CMMs, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Work with Gibbscam and Mastercam software for programming.
Essential Skills
- Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines and turning centers.
- Proficiency with G&M Codes.
- Familiarity with Gibbscam and Mastercam software.
- Ability to work with CNC Machining and CNC Milling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in machining from various blueprints.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Proficiency in shop math.

Work Environment
Work in a clean production machining environment where the CNC department performs secondary operations on production parts. The department is equipped with multiple CNC machines, turning centers, and Fanuc Robo-Drills, ensuring a high-quality working experience.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
