Quality Engineer

Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting the Quality Team to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the Quality Management System and ISO 9001. The role also involves managing the Quality Management System and driving continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the company, utilizing Quality tools to guide the process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System; ensuring integrity of the data.
• Responsible for maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for production and operation concerns.
• Support the Quality Team to ensure products and processes comply with relevant requirements of the Quality Management System and ISO 9001.
• Conduct full cycle internal audits; compile and present final determination to management.
• Review and analyze nonconformance reports; deliver insightful recommendations that drive actions to improve the quality of on-time delivery.
• Analyze customer complaints; determine root cause and create corrective and preventative actions.
• Interact and support Purchasing; evaluate external suppliers including conducting on-site audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering, or related study required.
• Experience with quality tools such as CAPA, PDCA, Six Sigma, DFMA.
