🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Use height gauges, pin gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Inspect and audit products using variable and attribute measuring equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T requirements
- Apply aerospace, military, and industry specifications to inspection tasks
- Perform conventional inspections to engineering requirements
- Work with advanced vision systems such as Keyence, CMM, and Zeiss
- Conduct First Part Buy Off, Receiving, In‑Process, Final, and First Article Inspections
- Review and understand AS9102 requirements
- Analyze CMM reports to determine part acceptance
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and other departments
- Review Work Orders and document nonconforming products
- Ensure quality standards and workmanship criteria are met
- Assist with scheduled shop audits to ensure compliance
- Follow all safety, environmental, and departmental procedures
- Issue gaging to the manufacturing floor as needed
🎯 What You Bring
- Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret prints with GD&T
- Experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100 documentation
- Strong visual inspection and quality control skills
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector
- Ability to follow work instructions and procedure manuals
- High school diploma or GED
- Detail‑oriented mindset and strong problem‑solving skills

- Understanding of quality inspection and quality check processes

🏠Work Environment
You’ll work in a clean, organized job‑shop environment with a strong team culture. The Quality Manager maintains an open‑door policy, and the new Director of Operations encourages collaboration and cross‑training. Dress code is casual (closed‑toe shoes required), and PPE is provided.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $66560.00/yr.
- Climate Controlled and super clean - Guaranteed 3% company contribution to 401k (not a match. For example, if you put in 6% they put 3% and if you put 0% they put 3%) - 1 weeks PTO right away plus the Minnesota sick pay on top of that - Average tenure is 10+ years - Life Insurance - Health, dental, vision, etc... (their benefits for a single person are very phenomenal) - Sometimes will have a bonus at the end of the year depending on company performance/profits
