Millwright Mechanic – Skilled Rigging • Big Moves • Real Growth $35-$45/hr

Step into a role where every day brings a new challenge—and your mechanical, rigging, and problem‑solving skills take center stage. As a Millwright Mechanic, you’ll join a respected crew that specializes in moving, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment for a wide range of customers across the local region and the Midwest.

If you enjoy working with heavy machinery, solving complex mechanical problems, and seeing the results of your work firsthand, this is the place to build a rewarding, high‑skill career.

What You’ll Do

You'll be part of 2–3 person crews tackling big, exciting projects such as:

  • Moving and installing industrial machinery safely and efficiently
  • Setting equipment into precise locations on the production floor
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Performing preventive maintenance, adjustments, and part replacements
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and layout drawings
  • Using rigging equipment to lift, position, and transport machinery

No two days look the same—every job site brings new equipment, new challenges, and new skills to master.

What You Bring

We’re looking for mechanically inclined, hands‑on pros with a strong drive to learn:

  • Experience in machine setup, repair, and maintenance
  • Skilled in welding, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and basic electrical
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand load dynamics
  • Rigging, lifting, and equipment‑moving experience

Preferred but not required:

  • Class A CDL
  • Air brake endorsement
  • Manual transmission endorsement

If you don’t have everything yet, no problem—we’ll help you get there.

Why This Job Is a Great Fit for Millwrights & Riggers

  • Huge growth potential with a company that’s expanding fast
  • Family-owned environment where you’re known by name, not a number
  • We invest in you: training, skill development, mentorship
  • Learn to drive manual transmission trucks—we’ll teach you
  • Company-provided uniforms, tools, and boots
  • Work with modern equipment and high‑quality tools (no cutting corners)
  • The work is physical, hands‑on, and never repetitive

If you like working with machinery, problem‑solving on the fly, and being part of a solid crew, you’ll thrive here.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Start at 6:00 AM, typically done between 5:00 PM–7:00 PM
  • 50–60 hours per week (strong earning potential)
  • About 2–3 overnight jobs per month depending on project load
  • Travel to industrial and manufacturing companies for load/unload, moving, and installation work

You’ll work on a small, tight‑knit crew that relies on each other and takes pride in getting the job done safely and correctly.
