Job Description
PAY: $20 and after 60 days raise to $23.30 (Union)

Join a leading global provider of packaging lifecycle solutions as a Production Worker. You will be part of an essential team working on the 55-gallon steel barrel line, where you will help process metal through a barrel line to form and seam weld. This role is highly physical and requires a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment involved in the production of steel barrels.
- Load and maneuver metal barrels, drums, and plastic containers.
- Utilize chain conveyors, automatic cutters, and burners to remove paint from used barrels.
- Maintain production speed and accuracy while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform quality control checks and ensure products meet specifications.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
Essential Skills
- General labor experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in forklift and machine operation.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with welding and seam forming equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to safely handle hazardous materials.
- Previous experience in unionized manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills for equipment issues.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
