Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic. This position is crucial for ensuring a smooth workflow by performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. The role also involves assisting with the installation of new equipment and maintaining the building. There is some flexibility with the set hours and days of the week.

Responsibilities

• Follow all work instructions and safety policies without exception, including the use of personal protective equipment and safety equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
• Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines, such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of problems.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts.
• Lubricate and clean machinery and support equipment to maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards within the plant.
• Complete all work orders to maintain safety, reduce downtime, decrease scrap, improve quality production, and enhance plant efficiency.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures, including the Lockout/Tagout program and housekeeping, and observe operations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
