Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for performing mechanical equipment maintenance at the assigned facility, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all work instructions and safety rules without exception, including the use of personal protective equipment and safety gear.
  • Contribute to the general housekeeping of the entire plant area and the assigned maintenance shop area.
  • Practice safety in all actions, including start-up, shut down, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Exhibit excellent forklift skills and be trained on all lifts used in the plant.
  • Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements as they pertain to daily activities.
  • Fulfill responsibilities required for the Quality System for the plant.
  • Work with the CMMS to schedule preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary production downtime.
  • Complete, maintain, and process all necessary documents related to repairs, purchases, and other appropriate activities.

  • A combination of 3-5 years of technical training and experience
  • Minnesota Boiler License Grade 2B or higher

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, where safety and adherence to procedures are paramount. The role requires wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following strict safety protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
