Traveling Industrial Coating Superintendent
Based in Waseca, MN (Extensive Travel Required)
$33.65–$48.50/hr + $5/hr weekend incentive
We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Coating Superintendent to oversee large‑scale coating projects across multiple job sites. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑accountability environments.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and supervise industrial coating projects from start to finish
- Oversee surface prep, sandblasting, and coating applications
- Manage multiple crews across different locations
- Coordinate wall systems, ceiling coatings, and flooring systems
- Maintain schedules, track progress, and resolve issues proactively
- Enforce OSHA and environmental safety standards
- Communicate with project managers and field teams
- Train and mentor coating crews
- Manage equipment, materials, and inventory
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of industrial coating experience
- 2+ years in a superintendent, foreman, or supervisory role
- Hands‑on experience with polyurea applications
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specs
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Willingness to work shutdowns, weekends, and travel extensively
- Bilingual is a plus
- NACE or SSPC certification preferred

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.50/hr.
