HIRING FOR: Production Specialists 1st and 2nd shift, 18/hr
Job Description
In this role, you will collaborate with a team of 2-5 colleagues to efficiently package finished materials produced by Roll Forming machines. The primary products include metal shingles, siding, and gutters. Each machine is operated by a Machine Operator II, and you will work alongside 2-5 other Packagers (Machine Operator I) to ensure quality control and defect-free manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring attention to detail.
- Package, palletize, and move products, including making boxes.
- Operate power tools such as drills, staple guns, and other pneumatic tools.
- Learn to operate various machines and work with different groups daily.
- Conduct visual quality checks to ensure products are defect-free.
Essential Skills
- Experience in packaging and production with strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work well with others and operate machinery.
- Proficiency in quality checks, general labor, and machine operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Mechanical inclination and experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and understand measurements.
- Capability to read tape measures and calculators.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minnetonka, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
