This role involves working on the Paint Line, with responsibilities including loading and unloading parts. The individual will either need to have the ability to learn how to apply powder coat paint or possess previous experience in doing so.
Responsibilities- Load and unload parts on the Paint Line.
- Apply powder coat paint application, either through learning or leveraging prior experience.
- Unload parts from the paint line and stage them for the assembly/shipping department.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Experience in paint prep, hanging parts, painting, and using a sprayer.
- Familiarity with wet application and powder coat techniques.
- Preferred 6 months of previous manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience in powder coat and/or wet paint application is advantageous.

Work EnvironmentWork in a team setting on a manufacturing floor that is not climate-controlled, with conditions varying from cool in winter to hot in summer. Large fans are used during the summer months to provide relief. Choose from two shift options: 5:00am-3:00pm or 6:00am-4:00pm, both with a 30-minute paid lunch. The role requires flexibility for overtime, typically on Fridays.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
