Overview
We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Manager to lead a high-performing team of analysts focused on maximizing the financial and environmental impact of energy efficiency projects nationwide. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with numbers, has a strong understanding of return on investment (ROI), and is eager to deepen their knowledge of energy efficiency technologies and incentive programs. You will play a key role in helping customers unlock the highest possible value from their energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate energy projects across the country to identify strong opportunities and improve overall ROI.
- Perform research-driven analysis to guide project selection and team priorities.
- Lead and manage a team of four analysts with varying levels of experience, balancing workloads and supporting professional growth.
- Identify and secure incentive opportunities, including utility rebates, grants, and incentive programs, for customer energy projects.
- Manage the full incentive lifecycle, from project pre-approval through final incentive payment.
- Coordinate closely with utilities, program administrators, and internal stakeholders to meet program requirements and deadlines.
- Oversee documentation and compliance, translating complex incentive rules into clear guidance for customers.
- Maximize financial benefits for customers by pursuing the highest-value incentives available.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in energy efficiency or a related industry.
- 2+ years of people management experience with direct reports.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Technical experience in utilities or experience as an energy efficiency implementer.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a solid understanding of ROI concepts.
- Demonstrated interest in learning and applying new technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
