Construction Laborer/Worker - Rochester MN

As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in performing demolition activities and assisting with commercial restoration work related to fire, water, mold, and storm damage. You will operate hand tools and power tools safely and ensure the proper disposal of demolition debris. Your role will involve setting up and containing work areas and assisting in cleaning and preparing structures for repair and reconstruction.
Responsibilities
- Perform demolition activities, including the removal of drywall, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, and non-structural materials.
- Assist with commercial restoration work related to fire, water, mold, and storm damage.
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools such as jackhammers, saws, drills, and pry bars.
- Load, remove, and dispose of demolition debris according to environmental regulations.
- Set up and contain work areas using barriers, poly sheeting, and negative air equipment.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using general labor, construction, and hand tools.
- Basic understanding of safety practices.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Rochester, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
