Job Title: Facility Technician
As a Facility Technician, you will act as the intermediary between end users, technical staff, and suppliers for equipment installation and system maintenance. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the ongoing maintenance and repair of facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other associated systems. You will also be tasked with performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing and laboratory equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building management, and other installed equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair work on manufacturing and laboratory equipment.
- Understand Building Management Systems (BMS), fire/life safety, purified water, and environmental monitoring systems.
- Work off work orders to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
- Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of maintenance and manufacturing lines.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a facilities maintenance position.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel and Word).
- Adaptability and good communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a clean room environment, medical device, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing practices (GMP) and CMMS.
- EPA Universal or HVAC troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC with rooftop units.

The position operates Monday to Friday, with flexible start times between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, ending between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Roseville, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
