Forklift Operator

A Material Handler II is responsible for unloading, transporting, storing, recording, retrieving, and loading all materials throughout the plant accurately and efficiently. The role involves using various manual and automatic machines, including pallet jacks and forklifts.

• Operate all warehouse equipment, including balers, lift trucks, walkie riders, battery chargers, forklifts, and shrink wrappers, safely and efficiently.
• Receive and load raw materials, finished goods, work-in-process, and mail according to established processes.
• Transport, store, accurately record, and retrieve all materials.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the System and Parts Inventory.
• Communicate with shifts regarding job status and any special instructions.
• Collect, shred, band, and load paper materials, cardboard, and other recyclable materials.
• Coordinate with machine operators for all work-in-progress and finished goods needed.

• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Experience in inventory management and material handling.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.
• Experience with visual inspection and blueprint reading.
• Understanding of non-conforming materials and quality checks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Cloud, MN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
