Quality Inspector – 3rd Shift

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Monday–Friday

We’re hiring an experienced Quality Inspector for our third‑shift inspection team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys overnight hours, focused work, and a clean, climate‑controlled environment.

Job Summary

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring product quality through first article, in‑process, receiving, and final inspections. You’ll primarily work in the inspection room while supporting production as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in‑process, receiving, and final inspections
• Operate CMM, MicroVu, and OGP SmartScope equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Run pre‑written CMM programs and make minor edits when required
• Document inspection results in a QMS system and on paper travelers
• Conduct inspections on the production floor as needed (clean‑room gowning required)

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of CMM inspection experience
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Experience with SPC, root cause analysis, and inspection documentation
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, calipers, etc.)

Preferred

• Quality inspection or quality control experience
• Visual inspection experience
• Familiarity with microscopes
• Comfortable working independently on overnight shift

Schedule

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Monday through Friday (no weekends, no rotating shifts)

Work Environment

• Clean, well‑lit, climate‑controlled inspection room
• Small, collaborative inspection team (3 people)
• Occasional time on the production floor for inspections

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
