Weâre looking for a skilled Punch Press Setup Operator with handsâon experience setting up and running punch pressesâespecially AIDA presses, progressive dies, and singleâhit machines. đ§ Responsibilities
- Set up and operate punch presses efficiently and safely
- Run a wide range of metal stamping machines
- Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel, beryllium copper, brass, and mild steel
- Inspect parts using precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality
đŻ Essential Skills
- 2+ years of recent experience in punch press setup and operation
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- High school diploma or equivalent
đ Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with press brakes, CNC equipment, and sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to perform full machine setup and operation
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and part inspection

đ Work Environment
Work in a large, wellâorganized sheet metal facility featuring tool making, quality, CNC, press brake, and metal stamping departments. The shop is loudâas expected in metal fabricationâbut structured, efficient, and equipped with modern technology. Youâll be part of a team of approximately 300 employees in a clean, safetyâfocused environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of SAINT PAUL, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
