Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily jobsite operations and coordinate subcontractors and trades.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Lead site logistics, inspections, and short-term scheduling.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce jobsite safety policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, owners, inspectors, and design partners.
- Track progress, manpower, and productivity using construction management software.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and field documentation.
- Lead punch list and closeout efforts through final inspections and occupancy.
- Promote lean construction practices and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in construction, commercial construction, and general contractor management.
- Experience in subcontractor management and safety enforcement.
- Expertise in construction supervision and quality control.
- Familiarity with Procore and construction management software.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and cost control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4 - 8+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience on commercial or industrial projects.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management and scheduling software.
- Willingness to travel as project needs require.
You will work in a hands-on, team-oriented jobsite environment with clear expectations and strong preconstruction planning. Leadership listens to the field, and well-run jobs start with empowered superintendents. The role offers real ownership of the jobsite and strong collaboration with project leadership, prioritizing safety, teamwork, and well-planned execution.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.00 - $67.00/hr.
