Equipment Mechanic – Underground Construction Equipment - Will pay up to $70K

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Equipment Mechanic to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work in a collaborative shop environment with 4–5 other mechanics, focusing on the maintenance and repair of underground construction equipment. Your expertise in hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems will be essential in keeping our fleet running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including identifying and fixing leaks.
• Perform engine repairs on 3–4 cylinder Kubota, Ford, and CAT engines.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including lighting and control components.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
• Assist with general shop duties and support team members as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair, particularly with diesel and hydraulic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and service manuals.
• Familiarity with underground construction equipment is a plus.
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

This is a Permanent position based out of Savage, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
