Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler in a high-volume warehouse environment. You will play a key role in receiving materials, allocating products, and ensuring accurate data entry in our Oracle-based system. Your responsibilities will include order picking, packaging, and inventory control, as well as scanning parts with an RF scanner and utilizing hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive and allocate materials within the warehouse using a forklift.
• Pick and package orders efficiently.
• Enter data for material allocation and product moves in Oracle.
• Perform cycle counting and data entry for inventory control.
• Scan parts using an RF scanner throughout the day.
• Hand package and label products.
• Use hand and power tools to create finished products.
• Record rejected or flawed parts in the company database.
• Walk and lift products continuously, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of recent experience in a high-volume warehouse environment with order picking and packaging.
• Proficiency in using an RF scanner.
• Experience with shipping processes, including UPS or FedEx.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Experience using power screwdrivers to create wood crates.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle systems is advantageous.
• Previous forklift operation experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean warehouse where you will engage in physical activities such as walking and lifting throughout the day. The role requires the use of technologies like Oracle and RF scanners, and involves working with hand and power tools. You will be part of a fast-paced team dedicated to maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
