Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Set-Up Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines using G+M Codes to produce parts with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure the production of high-quality components.
• Adapt to a custom environment where daily tasks may vary, continuously improving your machining craft.
• Engage in the learning and operation of various machines, including Matsuura and others on Fanuc/Mazatrol platforms.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CNC machining, with experience in using G+M Codes.
• Ability to perform full machine setups independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new machines and technologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with live tooling is a plus but not required.
• Experience in any types of Mills is acceptable; willingness to learn new machines is essential.
• Interest in advancing programming skills; opportunities for further education will be supported.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shoreview, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
