Job Title: Structures Mechanic
Job Description
The Structures Mechanic is responsible for altering, repairing, and fabricating sheet metal repairs for aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, floats, rigging, and surface controls. This role requires the use of hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, rivet guns, and drills to ensure high standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, install, and alter sheet metal and structural components in compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, service letters, structural repair manuals, maintenance manuals, and AC43-13.
- Collaborate with the inspection department to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements.
- Ensure maintenance activities are properly signed off daily on repair station discrepancy sheets and checklists.
- Read and interpret manufacturers' and STC holder’s manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of altering, repairing, or replacing aircraft or components.
Shift
- Working 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with typical hours ranging from 40-45 hours a week and opportunities for overtime.

Work Environment
Work primarily indoors in a shop or hangar environment, with occasional exposure to inclement weather when testing and maintaining aircraft. The position is based at a large FBO facility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
