Job Description

We are seeking skilled individuals to perform the initial assembly of high-end office furniture. This role involves utilizing various hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products. Candidates should be proficient in operating table saws, band saws, miter saws, and other tools while reading and following blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform the first assembly of high-end office furniture.
• Utilize hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products.
• Operate table saws, band saws, miter saws, and other equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Ensure product quality through inspection and attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• Experience in carpentry, cabinetry, or assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools.
• Proficiency in operating saws and woodworking equipment.
• Experience in finish carpentry and woodworking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing, general labor, farming, or construction.
• Preferred 6+ months of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Work Environment

Work in a newly built milling department equipped with excellent ventilation and lighting. Utilize new equipment and tools in a well-organized manufacturing process. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection (provided), with the option to wear jeans or shorts during the summer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stewartville, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
