Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to work as a generalist in our laboratory. The role involves performing tasks in chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, blood banking (providing blood for transfusions), and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests in chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, and blood banking.
• Provide blood for transfusions as needed.
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely test results.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or biological science.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with ASCP.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with blood banking responsibilities.
