Job Description
We are seeking an Entry Level Travelling Water Slide Restoration Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will travel across the country with project teams, focusing on cleaning and restoring waterslides at various waterparks and pools. This position involves labor-intensive tasks such as climbing, lifting, power washing, and painting, while utilizing grinders, orbital sanders, and various hand and power tools to repair scratches, replace panels, and apply protective coatings.
Responsibilities
- Travel nationwide with project teams to clean and restore waterslides.
- Perform labor-intensive tasks including climbing, lifting, powerwashing, and painting.
- Utilize grinders, orbital sanders, and various hand and power tools.
- Buff out scratches, replace panels, and apply protective coatings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, including grinders and sanders.
- Experience in construction, production, or restoration work.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors.
- Ability to travel extensively and remain on the road for extended periods.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in trenching, digging, farming, power washing, outdoor work, concrete, painting, sandblasting, and fiberglass.

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily outdoors, requiring adaptability to both cold and hot weather conditions. You will be on the road from January to June, with a break until the next season from September to Thanksgiving. This role involves working 5-6 days per week, with potential overtime of 10-20 hours weekly. Travel and lodging expenses are covered by the employer, with a per diem of $75 per day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cape Girardeau, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
