Job Overview

The Glove Lab Test Technician is responsible for performing all processes related to retesting new, in-stock CHANCE Rubber Insulating Gloves to help ensure customers receive tested and ready-to-use products.

A Day In The Life
  • Processes performed will be, but not limited to, unpacking, inspecting, prepping, testing, drying, stamping, and repacking rubber insulating gloves.
  • Technician will be required to make visual inspections, check quality, record test results, record scrap, keep required retesting records, and other operations as required.
  • Technician will be required to safely operate High Voltage test equipment as required.
  • Technician will be required to use a pallet jack for moving pallets of gloves into and out of the Glove Lab as needed.
  • Technician will be required to maintain the testing machine, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Ability to sit, stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
  • These physical requirements are generalities and work may occasionally exceed the specified levels.
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn basic use of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, OneNote)
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn basic use of SAP
