Job Description
Join our team as an Electrical Drafter, where you will be using AutoCAD to work on new substation projects, upgraded substations, and maintenance tasks. This role offers the opportunity to engage in significant and impactful work in the field of electrical drafting.
- Utilize AutoCAD for drafting tasks related to new substation projects, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Develop construction drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical, Civil, and Microstation.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure accuracy and quality in all drafting tasks.
- Engage actively in the design process by asking questions and seeking to understand the rationale behind design decisions.
Qualifications
- Experience- 0-5 years
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Willingness to learn and expand knowledge beyond CAD work.
- Experience in drafting with Revit and MicroStation is beneficial.
- Experience in consulting, utilities, or electrical systems design is a plus.
- A leadership mindset and extroverted personality are advantageous.
- Knowledge of additional design software like Inventor is a bonus.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $50.00/hr.
