Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily batch and physical testing on raw, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Operate laboratory computers, analytical lab instruments, and quality management systems.
- Execute incoming raw material testing and verify the quality of received compounds.
- Document results, review and audit information, logs, and product specifications.
- Assist in investigating non-chemical material anomalies on the manufacturing floor.
- Adhere to good laboratory practices (GLP) for safe and proper handling of chemicals.
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks for the laboratory environment and analytical equipment.
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of experience in a lab or quality control testing environment using wet chemistry procedures preferred.
- Experience in laboratories such as academic, medical, manufacturing, or food.
- Troubleshooting and calibration skills.
- Chemical handling and batch testing expertise.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of HPLCs is a preferred.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisonville, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
