Job Title: Plant Controls Cybersecurity Specialist
Job Description
The Plant Controls Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for implementing and executing cybersecurity procedures within the plant. The role involves ensuring compliance, conducting training, and performing gap analyses to maintain and enhance the plant's cybersecurity posture.
Responsibilities
- Implement and execute cybersecurity procedures.
- Ensure required documentation is completed and retained.
- Monitor compliance and execution of cybersecurity protocols.
- Conduct cybersecurity training sessions.
- Conduct cybersecurity gap analysis, reporting, remediation, and handle exceptions.
- Assess the plant’s compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
- Identify cybersecurity gaps and report findings for internal control and remediation.
- Capture and report ICS cybersecurity metrics periodically.
- Support IIoT data security by partnering with the client ICS team.
- Implement and support new cybersecurity and IIoT products and tools.
- Perform network monitoring for data traffic, rules, and anomalies.
- Ensure secure remote access and manage anti-malware products.
- Implement logging solutions and ensure PC image backups.
- Monitor wireless networks and utilize automated asset inventory tools.
- Perform risk assessments and manage endpoint installations.
- Identify and facilitate cybersecurity-related technology upgrades and patches.
- Prepare and distribute incident reports and responses to stakeholders.
- Aid plant team members in device backups and data storage.
- Support the rollout of Octoplant across plants.
- Coordinate with the Emergency Response Team for disaster recovery.
- Conduct asset inventory collection and maintain data integrity.
- Manage ICS assets and update configurations as needed.
- Document inventory collection tools and assist in deploying new tools.
- Assist in user access management for database solutions.
- Implement password solutions at in-scope sites.
- Establish and ensure antivirus controls are enabled.
- Monitor anti-malware status and maintain endpoint installations.
- Participate in SABA training programs.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in PLC programming.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Experience in controls engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with user access management for database solutions.
- Ability to implement password solutions and manage antivirus controls.
- Experience in anti-malware monitoring and maintenance.
Work Environment
The role involves working within a plant environment, focusing on implementing and managing cybersecurity measures. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure robust security across all plant operations.
