Maintenance Tech/Mechanic - $32/hr -$35/hr HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Job Description

This is a technical hands-on position for a Maintenance Technician to support the entire facility. The role involves performing repairs and preventative maintenance on forklifts and equipment, maintaining building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and generators, and working with conveyors and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on forklifts and equipment (50% of the day).
• Conduct building maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and generators (20% of the day).
• Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors and PLC systems (30% of the day).

Essential Skills

• Proficient in preventative and corrective maintenance.
• High mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Understanding of PLC systems and troubleshooting with conveyors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a maintenance role (facilities, mechanical, tech).
• Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable.
• Experience working on repairs, troubleshooting, and PMs on equipment/forklifts.
• Experience working on PLC systems and troubleshooting conveyors.

Work Environment

• The role is based in a large distribution facility with a maintenance team of 17 members.
• The company provides a collaborative and flexible work environment.
• The dress code includes jeans and steel-toed boots

PAY & SHIFT

• $32/HR - $35/HR
• Openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, MO.

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $72800.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Kansas City,MO.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 12, 2026.
