3rd shift: 9pm – 5:30am

Job Description

Operate heavy industrial machinery in a bustling factory setting to form, cut, or handle massive steel pipes. The role includes working on cutting machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery to form and cut steel pipes.
• Utilize various hand tools and equipment effectively.
• Read and understand work orders to ensure accurate production.
• Utilize cutting torches, plasma cutters, and welding equipment.
• Perform various tasks within the manufacturing process of helical steel pipe.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace during downtime.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using a tape measure.
• Experience in machine operation and metal cutting.
• Skilled in using hand tools, torches, and welding equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to utilize various computer apps and programs.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and safety protocols.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled and dynamic environment. The noise level is high, requiring appropriate ear protection. The role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and potential electrical shocks. Safety is paramount, with a need for constant awareness of surroundings and appropriate personal protective equipment. During downtime, tasks may include sweeping and cleaning to maintain a safe work area.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $39520.00/yr.
