Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
CNC Machinists are responsible for setting up and operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Mills, following specifications to achieve the correct requirements for each part. They should be capable of multitasking on various projects, using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to measure parts with precise instrumentation as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC equipment for production runs.
- Generate or troubleshoot CNC programs as needed.
- Inspect parts using measuring tools and adjust machines as required.
- Make tooling changes and modify tool geometry when necessary.
- Perform light machine maintenance, such as oiling and greasing.
- Keep the work area clean and well-organized.
- Work independently while upholding company quality standards.
Essential Skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Knowledge of G and M code.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Skilled in the use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Mazatrol, Mastercam, or Fanuc controls is helpful.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have previous experience with CNC and manual machinery.
- Ability to evaluate and resolve problems as they arise.
- Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings.

Work Environment
The position offers 2nd shifts from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Work in a temperature-controlled facility that is clean, safe, and team-oriented. The dress code is casual, and the environment fosters growth and advancement opportunities with on-the-job training provided.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Saint Charles, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $66560.00/yr.
