Job Title: Electrical Project Manager


Job Description

We are seeking a versatile Electrical Project Manager to oversee smaller service projects within our growing office. The ideal candidate will manage multiple roles, including Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foreman. You will be responsible for running projects, managing crews, and ensuring successful project completion.


Responsibilities

  • Act as the Field Project Manager and handle all aspects of field operations.
  • Assist with smaller service projects as needed and be onsite to support crews.
  • Manage and oversee multiple crews on major projects within the national industrial group, focusing on upgrades to industrial manufacturing facilities.
  • Conduct project takeoffs and review sets of prints to complete look-ahead schedules.
  • Order materials, manage project schedules, and collaborate with foremen to lead crews.
  • Coordinate instrumentation and conduit runs, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
  • Serve as the main onsite Superintendent, with two leads/foremen reporting to you.
  • Establish workflows and sequences to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety.
  • Wear a tool belt when necessary to support field operations.

Essential Skills

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
  • Experience as a lead foreman or superintendent on at least one project.
  • Experience managing industrial job sites, including instrumentation, pull schedules, and conduit runs.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Suite.
  • Proficiency in electrical wiring, conduit, and PLCs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with project takeoffs and managing crews of various sizes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with foremen regarding daily issues and progress updates.
  • Experience in material procurement and requisition management.

Work Environment

Projects are predominantly upgrades in industrial facilities, such as food and beverage, ethanol, manufacturing, and mining. Work involves being onsite with a vehicle available for travel to job sites. The role involves overseeing field operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
