Job Title: Civil Project Manager

Job Description

The Civil Project Manager will hold overall responsibility for ensuring the successful execution of projects, focusing on profitability, safety, and timely completion. This role involves developing subordinates and establishing strong client relationships, managing civil and water/wastewater projects with an annual revenue of $10 to $20+ million. The exact volume managed will depend on the number of projects assigned and the individual's experience level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects to ensure they are constructed profitably, safely, and within the designated time frame.
• Develop and mentor subordinates to enhance their skills and expertise in project management.
• Maintain effective communication and rapport with clients to foster strong working relationships.
• Manage approximately $10 to $20+ million dollars of revenue annually across civil and water/wastewater projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in civil projects including earthwork, deep foundations, shoring, concrete forms, water/wastewater, and utility build-outs.
• Proficiency in construction management and civil engineering.
• Strong skills in project management, including change order management.
• Understanding of land development, stormwater management, and drainage systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with utility build-outs and water/wastewater projects.
• Familiarity with construction processes and management techniques.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves office-based work, with occasional field visits to project sites.
