Pay: $24–$28/hr

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Monday–Friday

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Execute high‑quality MIG & Stick welds on barge structures
• Perform grinding, torch cutting, and fabrication
• Read blueprints and fit materials with precision
• Use a tape measure like a pro
• Collaborate with the machine shop to grab materials and keep repairs moving
• Tackle real-world repairs directly on the barge — rain, shine, heat, or snow

💪 What You Bring

• Solid MIG & Stick welding skills
• Experience with grinding & torch cutting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong fitting & fabrication ability
• Welding certs? Awesome!
• Shipyard or marine repair background? Even better.

🌤️ Work Environment

Not for the faint of heart — you’ll be working:

• Outdoors on the river
• In all weather (wind, rain, snow, heat)
• On a rotating schedule
  • 50 hours one week
  • 64 hours the next
  • Every other weekend
