💵 $20–$21/hr | Full-Time | 6‑Month Contract
⏰ Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (8‑hour shift within this range)

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and infection control—directly supporting the quality of patient and provider care.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the clinic by:
🔹 Cleaning, sanitizing, and sterilizing dental instruments
🔹 Organizing, tracking, and monitoring instruments throughout the sterilization cycle
🔹 Maintaining accurate spore testing and sterilization logs
🔹 Following OSHA and infection control standards
🔹 Ensuring the sterilization area is clean, orderly, and fully stocked
🔹 Communicating with providers and the lead tech about needs, issues, or equipment concerns
🔹 Supporting special requests from dental providers for instruments or handpieces
🔹 Building positive, collaborative working relationships across the dental center

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ALREADY WITHIN STERILE PROCESSING
✔ Excellent communication—both verbal and written
âś” Friendly, professional interpersonal skills
âś” Comfort using computers, email, and electronic records
âś” Understanding of medical/dental instruments & sterilization procedures
âś” Ability to conduct quality checks and follow strict protocols
✔ Strong problem‑solving and prioritization abilities
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume, fast-paced environment
Work Environment
🏥 Onsite in a Processing Inventory Room
⏰ Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
🕒 Candidates must be available for any 8‑hour shift within that window (flexibility to work until 6:30 PM preferred)
🍽 1‑hour lunch break
đź‘• Candidates must purchase their own scrubs
Additional Responsibilities
Candidates will also:
• Ensure accurate storage and organization of instruments
• Maintain documentation for sterilization cycles and inventory
• Understand and apply infection control processes
• Manage multiple tasks while meeting clinical timelines

This is a Contract position based out of St. Louis, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
