Job Title: Digital Content Designer


Job Description

This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension. Only candidates local to St. Louis, MO will be considered. The position requires working on-site from Monday to Thursday with the option to work from home on Fridays. Candidates must be able to work in a pet-friendly environment. A link to the candidate's portfolio must be included in the resume to be considered. Creatives here are naturally curious and self-motivated individuals who enjoy the excitement of agency life with all the benefits of a big company. We share a passion for pets. You will create and version online content for client brands where digital solutions will be applied in real-time.


Responsibilities

  • Design and execute online communications under the direction of a creative director with excellent design capabilities and a complete understanding of interactive space and user experience empathy.
  • Exercise quality assurance and strong attention to detail against master creative templates while versioning multiple pieces of content for eCommerce, CRM communications, social media content, and more.
  • Operate with a degree of autonomy by receiving project assignments, completing them on time, understanding direction, and applying feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively with community managers, internal and external teams, legal clients, and vendor partners.
  • Stay current on trends and technology in the digital, mobile, and social spaces and understand their application to client business. Be able to collaborate and share knowledge for the betterment of the idea and/or project.
  • Contribute to long-range agency and company goals relating to the growth of interactive capabilities and business.
  • Apply skills concurrently to multiple projects on different client brand assignments.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, passion for creating effective solution-oriented work.

Essential Skills

  • 1 year of experience in the digital space, preferably with a creative agency.
  • 1 year of experience with paid social campaigns, digital display, and eContent.
  • 1 year of experience with After Effects and motion design.
  • Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills for both digital and print design.
  • Strong understanding of designing for social, eCommerce, and digital display.
  • Strong typography skills.
  • Strong motion design skills including After Effects and animated GIFs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Basic video editing skills are a plus.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to contribute to brainstorming and general problem-solving.
  • Experience in social media marketing.

Work Environment

The role requires working on-site from Monday to Thursday, with Fridays as work from home. The environment is pet-friendly, requiring comfort around animals. The team is dynamic and passionate, ensuring a vibrant workspace.

Compensation:$38.64
