V2X is seeking a professional who will provide general or specialized administrative support to our government customer on-site in Springfield, VA. The candidate will provide a wide variety of services including responsive and meaningful customer support, responding to Career Service inquiries, interpreting guidelines, tracking and maintaining information, coordinating meetings, focus group sessions, logistical arrangements, oral and written communications for internal and external customers, and support to administrative operations.
This position is contingent based on contract award.

The candidate will provide a wide variety of services including responsive and meaningful customer support, responding to Career Service inquiries, interpreting guidelines, tracking and maintaining information, coordinating meetings, focus group sessions, logistical arrangements, oral and written communications for internal and external customers, and support to administrative operations.
This position is contingent based on contract award.
Responsibilities
Duties include:
- Providing general administrative support to HD Career Service staff (less than 40% of their time).
- Providing vacancy and assignments management support.
- Processing of civilian position changes and external vacancy announcements.
- Processing and managing external applications and coordinating with Recruiting, hiring managers, relocation team, and applicants to support the external hiring process for civilians.
- Developing SOPs, guides and other Career Service products in accordance with style manuals.
- Scheduling travel, training, boards, meetings, calendars, events, etc.
- Providing logistics support to Career Service events.
- Processing cross career service and change in career service requests.
- Providing meeting support to a variety of Communities of Practice, working groups, technical reviews, boards, etc.
- Providing records Management support.
- Processing and executing HR related functions and tasks in Human Resources Information Systems.
- Using advanced functions of Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and Defense Travel System on a daily basis.
- Tracking and managing formal taskers workflow, completion and close-out.
- Receiving and acting on guidance and direction from the career component team members to accomplish general and routine office requirements.
- Arranging for conference, meeting, and training sessions contracting agency staff leads, articulating meeting purposed to participants. Oversee all logistics to include meeting rooms, space, facilities, etc.
- Coordinating, collecting, screening and disseminating HR materials.
- Using systems to accomplish personnel actions that support career service activities.
- Planning and integrating processes and strategies for Career Service operations.
- Maintaining the content of the assigned career service website to include posting and updating information.
- Processing and managing external applications and coordinate with recruiting, hiring managers and applicants to support the external hiring process for senior civilians.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- Bachelors or equivalent experience within related field
- Required Experience:
- 7-10 Years' experience as Staff Officer or Office Manager (see duties above)
- Minimum 6 months demonstrated experience using SharePoint
- Holds an active TS/SCI clearance
- Proficient with PC computer platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and customer service skills
