Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description
The Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting project execution from start to finish. This position is a stepping stone toward a Project Manager role, offering hands-on experience in managing construction projects, client relationships, and operational excellence. The Project Engineer will be on-site full-time, with a daily per diem in addition to their salary. Organization within a fast-paced job site will be key to excelling in this role. Upon completion of a project, the Engineer will be relocated to another job site or work out of our St. Louis, MO office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the project team and clients.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
- Track production and costs, ensuring that projects remain within budget.
- Assist in the management of change orders and document control.
- Provide field support and ensure all engineering tasks are completed accurately.
Essential Skills
- Experience in construction, project engineering, and design.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam, AgTek, Vista, and HCSS.
- Ability to coordinate projects and manage estimations and change orders.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction, civil engineering, and site development.
- Competency in reviewing blueprints and specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
Work Environment
This role requires full-time presence on-site in Texas. The Project Engineer will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing safety and effective communication. The dress code is typical for a construction site, and the position offers opportunities for advancement towards a Project Manager role.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Weldon Spring, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
401k PTO Per Diem - $178/day Work Vehicle and Fuel card
