Job Title: WelderJob Description

Join our dynamic team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for setting up, assembling, and welding products by following work orders, blueprints, and jigs. You will ensure the secure positioning of component parts using bolts, clamps, or tack welds, and gather necessary parts to meet production demands. Your role includes performing visual inspections of finished products to ensure the welds are clean and complete.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, assemble, and weld products following work orders, blueprints, and jigs.
  • Secure component parts using bolts, clamps, or tack welds.
  • Gather parts needed to fulfill production requirements.
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure welds are clean and accurate.
  • Adapt to working on different components throughout the day as part of an assembly line process.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of MIG welding experience.
  • Ability to perform Flat Fillet Weld, Vertical Down Fillet, Flat Butt Weld, Horizontal Butt Weld, Pipe External Fillet, and Pipe Internal Fillet.
  • Keen attention to detail for performing clean welds and conducting personal visual inspections.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and reading a tape measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Experience operating an overhead crane is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to use a jig and read work orders.
  • Ability to read blueprints is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

The work environment is an open-air warehouse with large fans for ventilation, though conditions can be hot or cold depending on the weather. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday, 8 AM to 2 PM, with a paid lunch if you remain on-site. Lunch is at 11:30 AM and a break at 2:15 PM. Please note that punctuality is essential, as the turnstiles lock after the workday has started.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clarksdale, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
